Charlie Bradbury

Afternoon Hunters, In this week's blog, we will be discussing a character in Supernatural named Charlie Bradbury. We meet Charlie in Season 7, Episode 20: The Girl with The Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo. Charlie is a red headed woman in her 20s who loves science fiction and fantasy everything who while working a typical office job doubles as a gifted computer hacker. Sam and Dean meet her at one of Dick Roman's (season 7 Villian, Creature: Leviathan) corporate offices when they are tracking down a encrypted hard drive made by another hunter. This drive has crucial secret hunter knowledge that if the Leviathans got a look at the information things would not be good. Charlie helps the boys out and gets the drive back and also hacks into Dick Romans communications so they can figure out what his plans are and what his movements are at that current moment.  There is a fight after Charlie gets the information and Charlie's arm get's broken but thankfully the Winchesters were ...

Tools Of The Trade: Hunter Edition

Disclaimer: This post is for entertainment purposes only. Do not attempt. Morning Hunters, Now that we've talked a bit about the show itself, it's only fitting to discuss the weapons/tools the Winchesters use to defend themselves against monsters, angels, and demons. After further research, there are too many weapons in this show to list them all in detail, but I can give you a basic rundown of the weapons they more typically use. First, the Winchesters keep their supplies in the trunk of their 67' Impala under a false bottom lid. The boys pose as FBI agents, forest rangers, priests, doctors, laborers, crew workers, and more to get access to crime scenes, police report, autopsies, etc. Virtually pretend to be anyone essential to attain any information they need to understand what monster they're dealing with. An essential item we see them use in every episode is Fake IDs/ Fed Badges. While this isn't a weapon, it's an essential tool they need to do their jobs a...

Harvelle's

Evening Night Owls and Hunters, This week we are going to talk about my all-time favorite characters in the show Supernatural; Ellen and Jo Harvelle. Sam and Dean meet this mother-daughter duo at Harvelle's Roadhouse at the beginning of Season 2. For context, John Winchester, the boy's father, has just died, and they're navigating how to go on with the hunt for the Yellow-Eyed Demon after a huge defeat. To get themselves back on the horse, they look for another hunt and find a voicemail on their father's phone from Ellen regarding information about the demon. They set out for Nebraska and walk into a seemingly empty saloon. After some investigation, Sam and Dean each find themselves on the wrong end of a shotgun with Jo and Ellen on the other side of them. After a moment, Ellen recognizes their names and realizes that these are "John Winchesters Boys," lowers her rifle and introduces herself and her daughter Jo. Ellen was surprised to see them because she had...

Fan Fiction

Morning Hunters, Welcome back to the blog, and Happy Monday. Our discussion today revolves around a special episode of Supernatural labeled: Fan Fiction. This episode is exactly what it sounds like. To give context, in season 4, we discover that the Winchester brother's journey as hunters was turned into book series by a man named Chuck, who turned out to be a prophet of God who had visions of their adventures and turned them into books (the series wasn't very successful and didn't go far, but they had a small fan base). The books covered the show's beginning in 2005 until Dean goes to hell at the end of season 3. Flash forward to season 10, and the boys are investigating the disappearance of a teacher at an all-girls high school when they see that the Supernatural books inspire the musical the school is putting on. They find out later the monster they are facing is Calliope, a muse that was attracted to the play because of its unique story and abundance of supernatural...
